He reappeared in [[Midnight Hollow]], also as a ghost. Like his ''The Sims 2'' counterpart, he also died in a fire. Oddly, his skin is much paler and his eyes are white instead of blue in ''The Sims 3''.
Hugh is buried in the cemetery on Olive's lot in both Strangetown and Midnight Hollow.
