The Invention Constructor is a Object introduced in The Sims 4: Get To Work, this object serves as Workbench from previous games, but can only be used in the Science lab. The Invention Constructor can be used to create unqiue inventions to which they can serve as a Decoration, a weapon or a Machine.

Artifical Intelligence

The Invention Constructor is equipped with a Artifical Intelligence Robot hooked to the Constructor to which Sims can communicate with the AI, this AI also is the main inventor of the constructor as when a Sim chooses to invent a new object the AI can 3d Print pieces of the object before putting them together to make the final product.

The AI can also help upgrade Items such as the Freeze Ray to manipulate Sims and Objects.

The AI can also appear within the Sims relationship Panel to which the Sim can only progress the Friendship Bar.
