Invisible Friend

An Invisible Friend is a minor NPC included in The Sims: Makin’ Magic.

In the game, the Invisible Friend Charm may be used by children to create an invisible Friend.

Invisible Friends resemble female child sims and will always look the same. They go everywhere the creator goes, except school. When the sim that created the invisible Friend is at school or is asleep, they will walk around the lot with no needs to attend to. The child Sim who created them can also dismiss it and it will disappear, or it disappears by itself. Other Sims on the lot can’t make any interactions with it.

To make the charm, the Sim needs 1 Toadstool and 2 Faereie Dust. Like all children charms, it can be used 6 times. The invisible friend may act negatively to the child when he or she is in a bad mood when casting, or it his or her Social bar is full. If this happens, the child can’t dismiss the invisible friend, and will have to wait for it to wear off. It is possible to have multiple invisible friends active at the same time, however they will all look the same. When an invisible friend is dismissed, they will perform a salute before leaving, a bit like when a child goes to military school.
