Indications of performance are rather basic in ''[[The Sims]]''. [[Child]]ren have [[School|grades]]. [[Adult]]s have five job performance levels, labeled Dismal, Poor, Average, Good, and Excellent. There are no performance bars or meters, as there are in later games.
