Lifeguard is a profession that is featured in The Sims 3: Island Paradise expansion pack. It was confirmed[1] by EA during a Live Broadcast event.

Sims can join the profession by going to city hall or clicking on the life guard chair at the beach, in addition to newspaper and computer.
