A sims Lifetime Want is most of the time hard to reach. Most Sims want to reach the top of a career track, other wants are raising 20 puppies or kittens, marry off six children, have a golden anniversary or graduating three kiids from college.

Once this lifetime Want is fulfilled, the Sims will go into a state named Permanent-Platinum-Mood (mostly also known as perma-plat) which will give them unlimited chances to use aspiration bonuses without any failure.
