The Lynx family is a pre-made family featured in Brindleton Bay, from The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs. It consists of Catarina Lynx and her four cats Doc, Cleo, Josie, and Bartholomew A. Bittlebun, Jr..
Onomatology
Lynx: A genus of medium-sized wild cats, which includes the bobcat.
Catarina: Portuguese variant of Katherine, which has several possible origins in Ancient Greek.
Doc: Short for "doctor".
Cleo: Diminutive of Cleopatra, the name of several queens in Ancient Egypt.
Josie: Diminutive of Josephine, feminine form of Joseph, which in turn was derived from the Hebrew name Yosef, meaning "he will add".
