Maria Arlecchino (née Amantes) is the mother of Hero Monty. Like her daughter, she died a mysteriously untimely death, having died as an adult. Also like her daughter, she is unplayable without the use of hacks, such as SimPE. Also if one looks in her character file in SimPE, her elder thumbnail has an unused hairstyle. Amantes is a word used in Portuguese and Spanish language that means in English lovers.
Maria is a character in two Shakespearean plays. In Twelfth Night, she is Olivia's hand maiden, and in Love's Labour's Lost, she is a helper of the King of France and falls in love with Longaville.
If you check her in game files, like SimPE, you may find a hidden thumbnail of her, showing her as an elder with another outfit and her hair tied in an unused hairstyle two braided buns. It is unknown why this picture exists, although this happens with many more deceased Veronaville Sims who died young.
