Mrs. CrumpleBottom: Difference between revisions

▲The first one is to not go out. You don't have to go out for a date. A nice cozy night in sounds just as good as a night out. Mrs. CrumpleBottom can't come on to private property, (unless you cheat her on, which you don't want to do) so your Sims can show love as much as they want without being beaten with a purse, slapped, or yelled at. This will also save you money because you don't need to buy a car, call a taxi, or build a garage. This does not sound like the best choice, especially if your Sim's want is to go out.

▲The second thing is to go to a bowling alley or bar for a date or romantic outing. Although Mrs. CrumpleBottom is mean and cranky, she still likes fun as well as drinks. Your Sims can be WooHooing right in front of her and she wouldn't care as long as she was bowling or drinking. (Or even better, bowling ''and'' drinking). Look at '''Distractions '''article below.

▲The third method is to X out her action before she can. She is an old woman, so she is slow. While she is walking to your Sim(s), X out her action by clicking on it. It is a picture of her at the top left corner. If she is running toward your Sim(s), pause the game and X out her action. Try to overwrite it by making the Sim(s) to something else like talking to each other or something like that. She will still yell at your Sim(s), but they won't know because of the action they are doing at the moment. Look at '''Experiences '''article above.

▲The fourth method is to use boolprop TestingcheatsEnabled true, then use force error on her. That will let you delete her from the lot. This has worked, though it is unknown if it will cause glitches or corruptions.

▲The fifth method to avoid Mrs. Crumplebottom is having a date on a community lot located in your main neighbourhood. Special sims introduced with the Nightlife EP (namely: vampires and Mrs. Crumplebottom) appear downtown only. So, if you have a club or a public swimming pool in the main neighbourhood, she won't bother you.

▲The sixth way of getting rid of her is by installing mods specifically designed to do such a thing. There is one on modthesims2 that does this. It doesn't appear to do anything bad, and it gets rid of her.
