Newbie family

The Newbies are a family in the first Sims game that consists of two sims named Bob Newbie and Betty Newbie. This family acted as a tutorial family that taught you the basics (How to use objects, socialize, get a job and buy stuff).

In The Sims 2 however, they don't do much because Bob and Betty are dead and the tutorial is presented on it's own outside any neighborhoods by a family called the Sims.

The mother in the Broke family is related to the Newbies however.
