"Fix Plumbing" at the restaurant between 7 AM and 10 PM.
A lazy cook at the restaurant has been flushing potato peelings down the toilet instead of taking them out to the garbage. The plumbing is entirely stopped up throughout the restaurant and you’re needed to fix things. See what you can do for the folks at the restaurant and you’ll be paid for the work.

Fix Before Jail Break

"Fix Lock Mechanism" at the police station between 7 AM and 10 PM.
The mechanism keeping the jail cells closed is sparking and probably won't last much longer. The police guarding the jail are distracting the prisoners with some surprise pudding treats, but they don't think it'll last long. Quickly go to the Police Station to fix the locking mechanism. The police will pay you for more or less saving the city!

"Give Handiness Presentation" at the school between 10 AM and 2 PM on weekdays.
Some teachers at the School want you to give a presentation on home repair and upkeep. The School has already scheduled a time; you just need to show up. You'll be paid for giving the presentation.

Fix the Election... Machines

"Fix Election Machines" at the city hall between 7 AM and 10 PM.
City Hall has reported a "problem" with several of the polling machines and needs you to "fix" them quickly before the election begins! If you manage to repair the machines in time the City will allocate a portion of the budget to pay you for the work.

Substitute Instructor

"Provide Handiness Instruction" at the military base between 3 PM and 10 PM on weekdays.
The military's usual instructor is out on sick leave. The Handiness exam for all of the cadets is quickly approaching and someone needs to walk them through the steps. The military is willing to pay you as a contractor if you get to the base on the double and provide instruction to the cadets. Dismissed!

De-Worming

"Stop Worm Holes" at the science lab.
Chaos has broken out at the Science Facility! The prototype wormhole generator worked... too well... and now hundreds of wormholes are forming throughout the Facility. These nebulous creations very well might swallow the Facility and then the entire town unless you quickly get down there to fix it and reverse the situation. Go save the city and get paid in the process!

Upgrading

Bring Back the Jams

Upgrade the stereo and deliver it to the target Sim.
A stereo belonging to (Sim name) is barely pumping out tunes like it used to, and it's making (Sim name) look really un-cool. (Sim name) will leave the stereo with you (in your family inventory) to Upgrade. Once you’re finished, bring it back and (Sim name) will pay you for the work.

Shower Upgrade

Upgrade the shower and deliver it to the target Sim.
(Sim name) really wants a shower upgrade, and you're the only Sim in town with the necessary skills to do the job. The shower will be sent to your family inventory, so you just need to upgrade it and send it back. (Sim name) will pay you for the work.

Travel to Al Simhara, disarm a trap, and report back to the target Sim.
A new Adventuring Team is looking for one more Sim to join their squad. Your Handiness Skill could be an asset, but you'll need to be tested under pressure. To prove your skill, travel to Egypt, enter a tomb and disable a trap. You'll be paid for the risk.

Settle an Argument

"Convince Technology is Great" to the target Sim.
(Sim name) is a bit peeved with modern technology, and has taken the opinion that it's unreliable and breaks too often. Have a chat with (Sim name) and provide a convincing argument about the greatness of modern technology. You'll earn a little money and improve your relationship with (Sim name) for settling the disagreement.
