This is the list of piano skill opportunities. Completing any opportunities that reward Sims money will count toward the tally for Pianist Star skill challenge regardless of repeatability. Completing the skill challenge will reward Sim a random unlearned master track composition.
The current theater accompanist has a tendency to change keys in the middle of songs, making some singers very angry. If (Sim name) can gain a level of piano skill, the theater manager will give (Sim name) a job.

Now that the manager sees you've got the chops, he / she's ready to hand you the "keys." Show up at Theater and provide accompaniment for one of the Hairy Llama Choir rehearsals. (Sim name) will be rewarded for his / her efforts!
