Ornery is a pet trait featured in The Sims 3: Pets. It's only available for horses.
Ornery horses are stubborn and don't deal well with Sims. They don't like to be approached by Sims they don't know - or even Sims they do know, for that matter.

- Horse is likely to kick Sims or throw them off their backs.
- Horse is more likely to reject socials.
- Horse gets along better with other Mean and Evil Sims.

There is only one pre-made horse in-game with the Ornery trait: Freebird Johnson
