As the household name suggests, they appear to be a couple who are frugal. Clark does have the [[Frugal]] trait, and he has the desire to earn money from stealing. On the other hand, Penny doesn't have any characteristic of being a frugal person other than her name, which is a pun of a thrifty person. According to her bio, Penny wants to be famous and live the high life, but she has no motivation to do so. Apparently, the way to become famous and popular is by becoming friends of many Sims, which is her [[lifetime wish]], and also suits her personalities.
