Penny Pincher is a pre-made Sim in The Sims 3: Ambitions. She lives with her fellow roommate Clark Peddler in their household called Simoleon Savers, and reside at 64 Westlake Drive, Twinbrook. As the household name suggests, they appear to be a couple who are frugal. Clark does have the Frugal trait, and he has the desire to earn money from stealing. On the other hand, Penny doesn't have any characteristic of being a frugal person other than her name, which is a pun of a thrifty person. According to her bio, Penny wants to be famous and live the high life, but she has no motivation to do so. Apparently, the way to become famous and popular is by becoming friends of many Sims, which is her lifetime wish, and also suits her personalities. Penny appears to be a very social person, which is quite different from her roommate.

Penny works as a Cash Register Specialist at the bookstore. She and Clark works part-time for a living. Both of them, however, have bad job performances, which might cause them to get fired if they don't fix them soon. She only has 2 skill points in Dancing hidden skill. Penny goes steady with Clark, her best friend roommate. She is acquaintances with DeAndre Wolfe, a charming guitarist in Twinbrook. She doesn't know other people aside from them.
