Pet Points (sometimes referred to as pet money) is a type of currency only present in The Sims 2 Pets for PlayStation 2, Play Station Portable, Nintendo GameCube, and Wii. They are similar to Simoleons, which can only be used to upgrade your home lot; whereas Pet Points are used to make purchases in Town Square, a community lot.

  • Pet Points are won if the player realizes a pet's wants or if the player sells a pet at the pet store in Town Square
  • A machine in Town Square will turn Simoleons into Pet Points and vice versa
