Pet displays are objects introduced in The Sims 2: Pets, which are used for selling pets. These objects come in two variations, each showcasing a respective pet.

After placing down a pet display in a community lot or marking it for sale on a home business lot, an exhibit of a dog or cat spawns on it. While they idle with animation, they cannot be interacted from the glass cages. A playable sim can buy a respective pet from the corresponding display, with the freedom of picking the pet's name, age, breed, fur and body shape. If a household purchases a pet from an owned business while they are not currently being played, the player will be asked if they wish to keep the pet or not the next time they play that household.

Cat-Crazy Pet Display and Doggonit Pet Display cost over §222. The objects are found under Pets category in miscellaneous and are present in the twop shipped premade pet stores.
