Peteran priest
Peteran Priests are a religious denomination in The Sims Medieval. This church, unlike the Jacoben church which uses fear mongering to build up its numbers, uses popularity by sermon giving to gain converts. The Peteran Church is smaller and more plain than the Jacoban Church, and it mimics puritan or somewhat franciscan ideals.
The two denominations (Jacoban and Peteran) were once a single ancient church. Mirroring the divergence of Catholicism and Protestantism, the Jacoban and Peteran churches are now at odds with one another. The clergy of the Peteran Church can not be female.
The Peteran priest is one of ten playable hero sims.
