Plum & Bob are two personified PlumbBobs who are a running gag in The Sims offices at Redwood, CA. They first appeared May 3, 2010 on The Sims 3 Facebook page. They often appear in silly situations with punchline captions. They also started appearing in Twitter updates and on August 27, 2010 they got the job of hosting the official The Sims 3 Tumblr page

Plum is care-free and adventurous while Bob is more serious and down-to-earth.

Bob: My ambition is to be a firefighter! Plum, go cook something. Plum: Hey Bob, you're on my team, ok? Bob: Ok, but who are we going to play against, then? Plum: Is there something on my head? Bob: Uh... Plum: Think we can look as cool as that guy when we play? Bob: See, just copy what this guy's doing. Plum: We should get kidnapped by the game team more often! Bob: I wanted mint. Plum: What are you doing? Bob: Packing up some goodies for more giveaways. Hand me a poster tube, will you? Bob: No, no, no, he’s got to look at the keychain like he MEANS it. He’s pondering. Plum: Pondering over what? Is he looking for his car keys? Bob: *sigh*
