A Plumbob in Sims is used to identify the character you selected, and is also used to show the mood of your Sim.
Plumbob colors in The Sims 1 identifying the mood of the sim: Green - Best/Normal Red - Worst
Plumbob colors in The Sims 2 identifying the mood of the sim: White - (Platinium) Best Green - Good but not Best Green and a bit yellowish - A little bit under good (very little bit under average) Yellow - Under average Orange - Bad Red - Worst
