Prior to ''[[House Party]]'', Sims that have a large quantity of guests at night will receive a visit from the police officer, who will warn them and ask them to dissolve the party. If Sims do not send all the guests home, the officer will reappear after a period of time and fine the Sims.
Calling a false alarm to the police station results in a stern warning, although no fines or any other consequences will be issued.
