Though technically a strange extraterrestrial, Pollination Technician 9 is the patriarch of Strangetown, and father of four of its citizens. Although he seems to have had a very strange occupation in his adulthood, Pollination Technician 9 always wanted to just have a regular family. After retiring after his ascent into elderhood, he adopted the last name "Smith" and started a new family in the heart of Strangetown, becoming a well-known community leader who is respected and admired by most of his neighbors (excluding the resentful General Buzz Grunt).
