[[Anna-Liza Riddle|Anna-Liza]], a retired [[Journalism|blogger]], is the only remaining member of the Riddle family. She lives alone in a large house in the suburbs of Twinbrook. She is an accomplished writer, especially when it comes to mysteries.

The attic of the house is bare except for two things. One is a telescope pointed out a large window, allowing a good view of the entire neighborhood. The other is an urn for a [[Di. L. Emma Riddle]], who apparently died of old age.
