Onomatology

The Roomies Family "Roomies", because they are roomies.

"Jones" -- An English and Welsh patronymic surname derived from the given name John, meaning "God is gracious".

Chris Jones -- Christina, as in Christian.

"Smith" -- An English surname derived from the trade name smith.

Melissa Smith -- Greek for honeybee, perhaps a reference to her honeybee-like hairstyle.

"Pintoo" -- (Pinto) marked with spots of white and other colors mottled; spotted

Eric Pintoo -- a male given name: ultimately from Germanic words meaning “one” and “ruler.”

Carla Pintoo -- a female given name, form of Caroline.
