The satellite dish is an object introduced in The Sims 4: Get to Work. It can be built with the Invention Constructor at level 4 of the Scientist career (specifically, at the 7th Breakthrough), and cannot be purchased without the use of cheats. It requires 3 common metals and 3 common crystals to be constructed.

Every 24 hours, the satellite dish can be used to contact aliens or prevent abductions. The satellite dish can also be upgraded to detect local aliens.

If a lot has an upgraded Satellite Dish and a television, the television gains the alien channel ("!#*%&$@%").

Players can use the bb.showhiddenobjects cheat to make the satellite dish available in buy mode.
