Science geeks are NPCs featured in The Sims 3. They are usually seen when a newly bought house has been invaded by bugs. They come and ask the house's owner if they can take the bugs in order to study them. Most usually have the Computer Whiz trait, though there are some exceptions, such as Griffin Torrent.
Some houses in Monte Vista have been found to be invaded by bugs. If you find a house like this and choose to accept the challenge of getting rid of them, a science geek will show up and take some of the bugs away as samples.
