The Sellafone Gadget Kiosk is a community lot object, introduced in The Sims 2: University. The kiosk is similar to a vending machine; Sims select the object they wish to purchase, insert money into the machine, and the machine dispenses the product. Sims can use the kiosk to buy cell phones, MP3 players, or hand-held game players, for varying prices.
The kiosk is automatically included on many premade community lots in University sub-neighborhoods (such as the Student Union in Sim State University), but it can be added to any community lot, including Sim-owned community lots. When in a Sim-owned business, the player can adjust the selling price for the electronics.
Aside from college community lots, if The Sims 2: Nightlife is also installed, they will show up in several community lots in Downtown, such as the Fresh Rush Grocery and Cold Issue Clothing.
