The story starts with the protagonist drifting in the ocean, being washed ashore and waking up on
Next morning, the protagonist notices that animals had sniffed through his/her camp and cleans up the mess. He/she then starts to build a raft, which (once completed) will be used to get back to civilization. The raft needs something to use as a rope to tie the logs together and after finding a machete, he/she cuts a way into the jungle. He/she comes across the [[Broken Wings]] and finds a map in the plane wreckage. Then after more exploring he/she will reach [[Simian City]], meeting three [[orangutan]]s; [[Waiata]], Puna and Tiki. The protagonist finds a mysterious idol, but gets attacked by Waiata for trying to take it. After feeding the orangutans banana's, he/she may take the idol. Later, the protagonist calls the idol Spaulding and starts talking to it, probably because of loneliness.
