Shy is a pet trait featured in The Sims 3: Pets. It is available for all playable pets. It does not conflict with the Friendly trait.

Pets with the Shy trait prefer and are the happiest when around their Sim. Being around other pets and Sims make them a bit nervous.

Attributes[edit | edit source]

  • Pet will autonomously socialize with other pets less often.
  • Pet will prefer to socialize with the Sim whom they have the highest relationship with.
  • Pet will build skills more quickly when doing skill interactions with this Sim.
