The Sims 2: Apartment Life The Sims 3

Not to be confused with Water slide.

Slides are fun objects in The Sims 2: Apartment Life and The Sims 3.

The Sims 2: Apartment Life

Slidenfraude from Go Play!
Game The Sims 2
Buyable Buy mode
Price §300
Type Fun
Size 4x3

There's no greater joy than that of sliding. Roland's Cole playground masterpiece - the Slidenfraude - takes that joy and magnifies it. With a curved slide and bright colors, you'll no longer have to find joy in others misfortunes. Just Slidenfraude your sadness away.

In Apartment Life, the slide appears to be the pool slide from The Sims 2: Seasons, modified so it does not have to be placed by a swimming pool. Unlike the pool slide, which can be used by Sims of any age other than toddlers, it cannot be used by young adults[confirmation needed], adults, or elders.

The Sims 3

The Waxbottom Slide
Game The Sims 3
Buyable Buy mode
Price §335
Type Fun
Size 4x3

For years, neighborhood children have plundered kitchens from wax paper to expedite their downward progression on park slides. Lock your cupboards no more, parents! The Waxbottom Slide is built with integrated Hyper-Wax 2300 Speed Solution to make it the fastest slide on the planet.

In The Sims 3, slides are commonly found around community lots, and some are also found on certain residential lots. They can be purchased from buy mode and placed on any residential lot. Children are the only Sims that can play on the slide. Teenagers can 'Hang Out' on the slide, but older Sims cannot do anything on the slide.
