The Social Worker will not come to teens and older. If a Baby, Child or Toddler becomes severly malnourished, the social worker will take them away. Or, it could be an orphan. Orphaned Sims of the above ages with no-one else (teen, adult, elder) in the house, the Social Worker will come.
The Social Worker is an NPC who will take away a child, toddler, or baby if their needs drop to low. If there are any other children under teen in the house, they will all be removed with each other. Once they are taken away, they will all be available for adoption by a different family (or families). Once a person has the memory of having a child taken away by the Social Worker, they are illegible for adopting ever again.
