In ''The Sims 4'', the memory system is like a mixture of the one in ''The Sims 3'' and the photo album in ''The Sims'' and ''The Sims 2''. You can use all of the screenshots you make as a memory of the Sim. Every memory can also have its own [[emotion]]. Since a recent patch, the emotion of the memory depends on what emotion the Sim was feeling at the time of the screenshot, so you can have memories of a Sim doing romantic socials but it will still be a Playful memory, or a Sim interacting with their enemy and still making it a Happy memory.
