:::Bella does reveal that she married Mortimer for his money, in Sims 2 (PSP). My theory for it is, that as a child, she probably did genuinely like him. Then, when she was a teenager, realised how rich his family was. Michael would of inherited everything, including the Bachelor money, and house. So, she wanted to marry well.
