He is the grandfather of [[Daniel Pleasant]] and [[Jennifer Burb]], and the great-grandfather of [[Angela Pleasant|Angela]] and [[Lilith Pleasant]], and of [[Lucy Burb]]. His name may be a play on "Less Pleasant".
