A rumour was a quirky [[Easter eggs|Easter egg]] would be that the drivers of cabs would be ducks, however has been proven untrue. At the creator camp they had duck drivers because they had not designed the drivers yet. In the final version, Sims drove the cabs. Cabs are provided as a free service. With ''[[The Sims 3: World Adventures]]'', just like ''[[The Sims 2: Bon Voyage]]'', the cabs '''cannot''' take youSims to the vacation destinations, cabs also do not appear in the vacation destinations. YourA player's Sim is automatically given a Kenspa in [[Champs Les Sims]] and [[Al Simhara]], and a bike in [[Shang Simla]]. Unless with a teen or adult family member is with them, children do not take cabs and instead ride bikes, even if they do not own one. If youra Sim has to travel far, and doesn't have a car in their inventory, a taxi will appear. If a Sim wants to travel from one lot to one thatsthat's totoo far to walk, but dosedoes not have a car/bike in their inventory, they will automaticlyautomatically take a taxi.
