'''Fright''' is a form of [[death]] in ''[[The Sims 2]]''. It can be triggered in two ways: either by seeing a [[Ghost#The Sims 2|ghost]], or opening up a [[Vampire#The Sims 2||Vampire's]] coffin while a Vampire is inside{{vgversion|TS2:NL}}. Upon being frightened, the [[Sim]]'s needs will drop drastically. If the vital needs (hunger, energy, etc.) hit zero, the Sim will check their pulse, but will not be able to find it. The Sim will then collapse, dead. The ghost of a Sim who dies from fright will be pink.
