In ''[[The Sims 2]]'', Sims can be '''frightened''' by a [[Ghost#The Sims 2|ghost]], or by opening up a [[Vampire#The Sims 2|Vampire's]] coffin while a Vampire is inside{{vgversion|TS2:NL}}. Upon being frightened, the [[Sim]]'s [[Motive|needs]] will drop drastically. They jump up in the air, fall back down, and check their pulse. They realize they don't have one and then collapse (and die)
