Faith has no [[skill]] points at the start of the game, and her [[interest]]s are randomized upon loading her family. When she and her wife are moved onto a lot, Faith will be on her first day of the [[elder]] [[life stage]], with a random number of days left before dying of old age. It is only referenced in the game files that she only has 1 day left.
 
Examining Faith's SimDNA in [[Package editor#SimPE|SimPE]] shows that her hair was black before it turned grey. Additionally, she has recessive genes for brown hair. She seems to be based in part on [[Coral Oldie]] from [[Pleasantview]] - they are both [[marriage|married]] elders and their husbands share (variations on) the same first name. Also, their surnames, when said together, might be an allusion to the phrase "an oldie but a goodie". Faith's name could also mean "good faith".
 
She and her husband have no children at the start of the game, and they are elders, so the option to 'Try For A Baby' will not be available. However, if the player ages them down to [[adult]]s (using [[boolprop testingcheatsenabled]]), the player can make them have children and age them back up. It is also possible to have children without the use of hacks, through [[adoption]].
