== Becoming an administrator ==
Experienced users who have already received [[The Sims Wiki:Rollback|rollback]] privileges, and who are trusted, long-term members of The Sims Wiki community may request administrator powers at [[{{ns:project}}:Requests for administratorship]] page. Once a user has applied, a Bureaucrat will review the application and either approve or deny it. Please be patient as a Bureaucrat reviews the application, as it may take days or weeks before a response is made. Also note that Bureaucrats may not be looking to take on more administrators at the current time; the Requests for administratorship page should state whether new applications are being accepted.
For you to become an administrator, someone with bureaucrat access must make you one. On larger Wikia, there will usually be a community page for requests, with a page name such as "[[{{ns:project}}:Requests for administratorship]]". On a smaller wiki, you may simply ask on the community portal or [[Forum:Index|forums]], or ask a bureaucrat directly on his or her talk page.
