Snow refers both to the weather event, and to the precipitation often accumulated on the ground, roofs, and outdoor fixtures after a snowstorm if temperatures are cool enough. Snow in ''The Sims 2 ''can fall either as light snow (or flurries) or as heavy snow. After it has been snowing constantly for a time, the game will cover the ground and roofs of any structures with a thin layer of snow. If the snow continues, it will completely bury most parts of the ground (including items that may be sitting low on the ground, such as newspapers or shrubs), but will not accumulate on large paved surfaces like roads or driveways; or on water.
