In ''[[The Sims 3]]'', the '''Teleportation Pad''' lets a Sim instantly teleport to any location on the map, and use a [[mobile phone]] to teleport back. Occasionally, the teleporter malfunctions and teleports the Sim to the wrong place, but recovering from that is a simple matter of teleporting back with the phone and trying again. It can be [[upgrade]]d with "Perfect Teleportation", which prevents it from ever malfunctioning.
