The option does not exist in ''[[The Sims]]''. Wardrobes in ''The Sims'' have a "Change clothes" option which allows a player to change a Sim's Everyday [[Skins|skin]], so long as the Sim is wearing Everyday clothes. In ''[[The Sims 2]]'' using the "Plan Outfit" interaction allows the player to change the Sim's outfit to clothing that has been bought or an outfit that was provided automatically for another Sim in the household.
In ''The Sims 3'', the player will enter Create a Sim and is able to edit the clothing for the Sim for each type and create up to 3 different outfits for each type. They can enter [[Create a Style]] as well.
