The Sims 2
In The Sims 2, the Little Baker Oven produces a muffin. The muffin can be burned, and as with a normal stove, children with low cooking skill are more likely to burn it. It may be advisable to let a child gain one or two Cooking points from a bookshelf or television before getting them a Little Baker Oven. The Little Baker Oven is a Fun object as well as a source of food, and children may bake autonomously.

The Little Baker Oven will not have a "Make..." option, but otherwise works much like a normal stove. A child using it may be distracted and walk away while the muffin is baking, in which case the player will be able to direct the child to get it by clicking on the oven and selecting Get Food. As with food prepared with full-size appliances, if the "Eat" interaction is canceled, the player will be able to direct other Sims to eat the muffin. Also, if The Sims 2: Seasons or later is installed, the muffin can be stored as a leftover.

Like other skill toys in The Sims 2, there is no limit to how much skill a Sim can gain by using the Little Baker Oven. If The Sims 2: FreeTime is installed, using the Little Baker Over builds enthusiasm for the Cuisine hobby.
