The plant can only be planted by Sims that have a [[Gardening (The Sims 3)|Gardening]] skill level of 10. Some special plants, such as [[Death Flower]]s cannot be replicated using the Omni Plant.
The Omni Plant is obtained by completing the ''Uncommonly Good'', ''Outstandingly Rare'', and ''The Omnificient Plant'' [[Gardening_(The_Sims_3)#Opportunities|opportunities]]. It is also found from fishing or finding it at the Landgraab Industries Science Facility.
