Some focus is placed on the origins of the Bayless family. The in-game biography of the family, as well as [[Gwayne Bayless]]' biography tend to suggest that the family has been quite hard to track down over generations. No information exists in the family tree of any family member to show any relatives. Gwayne's bio might also hinthints at some past inbreeding, so if this is the case they may wish to keep it quiet, asthat anyone who tries to track the family line is only "led in circles," though this might simply indicate poor record-keeping which, given the suggestion of a tendency to "forget" to pay bills and theft could be deliberate.
