Her name is likely a play on 'dilemma' or even an allusion to the Alfred Hitchcock thriller film, Dial M for Murder. Though she doesn't appear on [[Anna-Liza Riddle]]'s family tree, Di L. Emma appears to be one of her ancestors. Not only do they do share a common surname, but their facial structure and personalities are very similar, both being [[Perceptive]] ~~Bookworms~~and [[Bookworm]]s. Despite those similarities, whether or not she is one of Anna-Liza's ancestors is a matter of speculation. She wears medieval clothing.
