She shares her first name with the mailwoman from the original ''[[The Sims]]'' base game, and her appearance is very similar to that of the original Carrie; it is possible they are intended to be the same character, or that this is at least an intentional reference. Since ''The Sims 3'' is 25 years before ''The Sims'' she could be an ancestor of the original Carrie.
