The Moodlet Manager has a Cure and Zap function. Cure removes all negative and neutral [[moodlet]]s but sometimes will malfunction and empty Sim's energy need. Zap empties Sim's energy the same way when Cure malfunctions. The Moodlet Manager will also fill needs if they are low enough to produce a negative or neutral moodlet. Some Moodlets such as "Missing Work" cannot be cured (See Notes).
Moodlet Managers can be very practical for certain moodlets that have special effects on Sims. For example, curing a Sim will
*Instantly complete transformation to become a [[Vampire (The Sims 3)|vampire]].
*Cure [[zombie]]s.
*Cure sims cursed by a [[mummy]] .
*Cure a [[singed]] Sim.
*Cure a Near-Dead Sim
