He lives with his deceased wife [[Olivia Goth\|Olivia]], his niece [[Frida Goth]], and his friend [[Helen Hall]], who is the only living member of the household. He is considered a little ~~scatty{{clarify}}~~eccentric by the other townsfolk, and this was increased by his wedding to a much younger and poorer woman. However, he did not care at all. Unfortunately for everyone in the house, he died after being poisoned by his favorite treats. His distraught wife, distracted by her despair, accidentally electrocuted herself, and it caused a fire that killed Frida.
