Argus is mostly likely based on the werewolf [[w:c:beinghuman:George Sands\|George Sands]] portrayed by [[w:c:beinghuman:Russell Tovey\|Russell Tovey]] in the BBC show ''[[w:c:beinghuman:Being Human (BBC)\|Being Human]]''. His occupation is similar to this character, and his roommates' occupations coincide with their counterparts as well. *Argus is also the anglicization of the Greek Ἄργος, which is an attested name for dogs in Ancient Greece. This may specify him being a werewolf, as wolves belong to the same family as dogs do.
